Urology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
A health services organization in New York is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) to join their growing Urology team at one of their facilities in Niagara County. In this role, the Urology NP / PA will be responsible for providing healthcare services to patients, encompassing health promotion, cancer prevention, acute and chronic illness care, and education and counseling for patients and their families. Urology Responsibilities: Assesses the physical and psychological status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies. Recognizes deviations from normal in physical assessment; works in collaboration with physician in formulating treatment plans for health problems and follow-up. Writes prescriptions for medications and blood products based on laboratory results, routine diagnostic and follow-up studies, therapeutic measures, and post discharge care in accordance with written practice protocols. Qualifications: 6+ months of experience as an NP or PA Current NYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) license BLS certification Desired Skills: Prior experience in Urology This is a great opportunity for an APP to work with top New York providers while maintaining work-life balance.
