Job Summary The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience is a key part of the store leadership team, responsible for ensuring a high-quality experience for both team members and guests daily. They lead from the floor, develop team members, foster a culture of belonging, and ensure outstanding guest service aligned with company values.

Core Responsibilities Leadership and People Management

Create an inclusive team environment that celebrates differences and promotes support, productivity, and fun.

Engage team members by clarifying how their roles support store and company success.

Implement and cascade the Store Manager's people vision.

Support hiring and building a diverse, skilled team.

Provide ongoing development, coaching, and performance feedback.

Manage performance issues and address employee concerns appropriately.

Guest Experience and Community

Lead and assess guest connection and product education, coaching team members accordingly.

Make in-the-moment decisions to maintain store efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Handle guest feedback and escalations to resolve issues and ensure a positive experience.

Operations, Product, and Strategy

Review business metrics to inform planning and strategy.

Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation.

Handle opening and closing procedures.

Follow safety policies and legal requirements.

Budget Responsibility

Manage aspects of the store's budget and labor hours.

People Management

Directly manage a subset of store employees as delegated by the Store Manager.

Job Requirements Eligibility

Legal authorization to work in the store's country.

Reliable transportation for travel to the store.

Schedule/Availability

Variable schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Experience

At least 1 year of people management experience.

At least 1 year of leadership experience managing operations and projects.

Preferred Assets

High school diploma or GED; bachelor's degree preferred.

Retail or sales management experience.

Experience in recruiting, hiring, or training.

Work Context

Work environment includes bright lights and loud music.

Work involves teamwork and independent tasks.

May involve conflict resolution and guest issue management.

Requires moving around the store and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits Base pay: $23.19 - $31.38/hour, plus bonus and benefits including health, dental, retirement, discounts, and more.
