The Assistant Manager, Guest Experience, is a vital part of the store leadership team, ensuring our team members and guests receive a high-quality experience daily. They lead from the floor, build and manage teams, foster a culture of belonging and growth, and ensure outstanding guest service aligned with company values and directives. Core Responsibilities
Leadership and People Management
Create an inclusive, respectful team environment that celebrates differences and fosters support, productivity, and fun. Engage team members by clarifying how their work supports store and company success. Implement and cascade the Store Manager's People vision. Support hiring and team building with diverse backgrounds and skills. Promote ongoing development through feedback, coaching, and mentoring. Lead performance management activities and address concerns appropriately. Guest Experience and Community
Lead exceptional guest experiences through connection and product education, providing coaching as needed. Make real-time decisions to ensure efficient store operations. Address guest feedback and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction. Operations, Product, and Strategy
Review business metrics to inform planning and strategy. Maintain visual merchandising standards and store presentation. Handle opening and closing procedures and ensure safety policies are followed. Budget Responsibility
Manage aspects of the store's controllable budget and labor hours. People Management
Directly oversee a subset of store employees as delegated by the Store Manager. What We Look For

Flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays Experience
At least 1 year of people management experience At least 1 year of leadership experience managing operations and projects Preferred Assets
High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred Retail or sales management experience Experience in recruiting, hiring, or training Work Context
Bright environment with loud music Teamwork and independent work Conflict management and guest issue resolution Community engagement and relationship building Use of computers and virtual meetings Physical activity including moving around the store and lifting up to 30 lbs Compensation & Benefits
Base pay: $23.19 - $31.38/hour (may vary by location). Target bonus: 25%. Total target pay: $28.99 - $39.23/hour. Benefits include health, dental, mental health, paid time off, retirement matching, discounts, fitness classes, parental support, development courses, and mentorship programs. Eligibility for benefits varies; company reserves rights to modify offerings. Additional Details
