Position Summary Responsible for the supervision and completion of all aspects of Cage Operation as assigned tasks in a timely and responsible manner. Provide the safeguard of company assets. Serves as a back up to the Cage Supervisor.

Essential Functions

Supervises all aspects of daily operations of the Cage and Player Services Department in the absence of the Cage and Player Services Supervisor

Monitors and maintains currency levels and troubleshoots problems in the Kiosk and ATM’s

Interfaces with Casino Operations and assists with the development of players by communicating with all departments.

Tracks guest play, extending guest service according to internal controls.

Ensures that are in compliance with NIGC, Tribal policies, State compact, and Tribal gaming regulations.

Monitors player tracking, extends guest service, assigns comps according to internal control and guidelines.

Supports and assists any other functions or areas of responsibility as determined by the Cage.

Ensures that cage operations are in compliance with Chinook Winds policies and procedures.

Accesses the player tracking system and makes edits to the system as necessary.

Queries the player tracking database for specific Marketing/gaming information including guest demographics, comments, and needs.

Ensures that the Cage team members are in compliance with Chinook Winds policies and procedures.

Accurately maintains and audits recordable transactions as they apply to Title 31 of the Bank Secrecy Act through compliance software.

Research and resolve balancing discrepancies in the Main Bank, Employee Windows and Front Line.

Resolves guest complaints as needed.

Recommends measures for improving work procedures and worker performance to increase quality and enhance job safety.

Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of goals, objectives, programs, promotions, budgets, policies, and procedures.

Handles all personnel issues in a timely manner according to Chinook Winds policies and procedures.

Maintains effective communication within the team and attends meetings and training sessions when required.

Assigns duties, responsibilities, and work areas to employees in accordance with work requirements and ensures all policies and procedures are followed.

Performs personnel actions such as hiring and firing staff, consulting with department management and Human Resources as necessary.

Develops and maintains a teamwork environment.

Trains team members in designated areas and monitors progress.

Completes, monitors, and develops staff through evaluation and development plans.

Monitors staff performance to ensure Chinook Winds Casino Resort guest service standards are achieved.

Identifies & reports any irregular, unsafe or hazardous conditions.

All other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications WORKERS IN THIS POSITION MUST BE 21 OR OLDER

Education High School Diploma or GED.

Experience 3 years of experience in Cage Operations.

1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Computer Skills Microsoft Office basic level including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

10 key proficient.

Certificates & Licenses Siletz Tribal Gaming License.

Must be able to pass all Title 31 testing.

Other Requirements Must have good people skills.

Knowledge of the gaming industry, its rules, laws, and regulations governing them including Title 31.

Work Environment Work will take place in a busy gaming environment with multiple distractions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The environment is subject to smoke and the associated affects.

Working Conditions Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
