Inside Sales Coordinator
for a leading manufacturer of machines and components in Elk Grove Village, IL. As an Inside Sales Coordinator, you will play a vital role in an administrative role in supporting all aspects of the inside sales operations related to injection molding machinery. Job Requirements: HS Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience as a Sales Coordinator or related experience for a manufacturing company. Experience getting order quotes and PO’s for new equipment builds. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively liaise with internal teams, customers, and sales representatives. Ability to manage multiple tasks with a focus on accuracy, especially when processing orders and updating data. Competence in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and Word, to handle reporting and documentation efficiently. Willingness to collaborate with diverse groups, including engineering, assembly teams, and trade show organizers. Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks like machinery holds and maintaining updated availability information. Responsibilities: Supporting all aspects of the inside sales operations related to injection molding machinery. Critical link between the outside sales team and internal departments, managing machine quotes, purchase orders, and overall sales documentation. Assisting with trade show logistics—both on-site and at the office—coordinating monthly updates on machine availability from the overseas parent company, and assigning machine and port locations based on sales forecasts. Manages machinery holds and collaborates with the engineering team to define and update special options, ensuring the special options library remains accurate and up to date. Works closely with both sales and accounting to ensure seamless quote and order management.
