Increase sales by leading the Architectural team to obtain account specifications while developing and retaining an effective architectural sales team. Mentor and coach the assigned Architectural team on presentation skills, product knowledge, internal procedures, design trends, and product promotions. Work closely with internal teams to obtain proprietary sales specifications for the company. Maintain strong relationships with top architectural and design firms to drive growth. Emphasize new product promotions and design trends with the architectural and design community. Foster development of the architectural team to present at seminars, trade shows, and project meetings. Hold the team accountable to commercial measures and goals while creating growth opportunities. Provide guidance to the team within the latitude of established company policies and procedures. Engage with diverse issues requiring evaluation of multiple factors and current business trends. Interact with functional peer groups, other company divisions, or customers as needed. Perform other duties as needed. Location: This employee can be based out of Manassas, Atlanta, or Charlotte. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 8-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; 3-5 years of management experience. Competencies: developing intermediate people management skills, understanding broader organizational goals, prioritizing productivity, and strong communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; adaptable, professional, and able to handle multiple projects. Other Pertinent Job Information
