What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Provide leadership and direction to strategic large prospects and customers during the pre- and post-sales process

Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts

Ensure successful rollout and adoption of products through strong account management and coordination with support resources

Generate qualified leads and develop new customers in collaboration with strategic channel partners

Prepare activity and forecast reports, contributing to root cause analysis on wins/losses

What is Required (Qualifications)

Proven enterprise sales experience with a focus on large organizations

Ability to work under minimal supervision on complex projects

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills

Experience selling software development tools or security/App Sec tools preferred

Ability to travel if needed and comply with the company’s travel policy

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Familiarity with Git and Application Lifecycle Management tools

A strong desire to ensure customers benefit from their investment

Established relationships and proven sales techniques

Experience with consultative sales approaches

Ability to use GitLab effectively
