Key Responsibilities
Utilize negotiation skills to provide cost-effective logistics solutions
Maintain communication with sales team and customers to support problem resolution
Support GEODIS policies and procedures
Prospect for customer leads and build a sales pipeline
Manage and grow existing accounts to maximize margins
Use CRM systems for sales tracking
Identify and develop relationships with prospects
Analyze market conditions to identify growth opportunities
Mentor and train team members through shadowing and team calls
Participate in developmental opportunities to expand industry knowledge
Perform other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements
Minimum 3 years sales experience in intermodal, drayage, CMS, transload, LTL, or truck brokerage
3PL experience and familiarity with TMS systems required
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access, and Excel
Ability to work independently and in teams
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong drive, confidence, and communication skills
Organizational and negotiation skills
Willingness to make outbound sales calls
