Responsibilities
Provide expert legal guidance on technology-related matters, including software licensing, data privacy, cybersecurity, IP, and AI
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of technology agreements
Monitor and advise on legal and regulatory developments in the tech sector
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and IT teams
Deliver internal training programs on legal and compliance topics
Manage and liaise with outside counsel as needed
Develop and support IP protection strategies
Must-Have Skills:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree; top 30% class ranking strongly preferred
5+ years of legal experience with a focus on technology-related matters
Large law firm experience
Extensive experience with software development agreements and AI agreements
Familiar with software licensing, data privacy, cybersecurity, and IP law
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Previous in-house or industry experience at a technology-driven company
Advanced degree or background in engineering, computer science, or related technical field
Previous experience at a law firm
Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
