Lead Teacher Responsibilities
Create fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow teachers.
Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines and company standards.
Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
Qualifications
Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
Meeting state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Energetic, dependable, passionate individual at least 18 years old.
Compensation and Benefits
Lead Teacher salary: $18.82 – $19.55.
Health insurance (medical, dental, vision, and FSA) for full‑time employees; limited medical for part‑time workers.
Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401(k) with company match.
Life and disability insurance; child care discount available to all employees.
California employees eligible for paid sick leave as required by the Healthy Families Work Act; full‑time employees receive 48 hours upon hire and annually thereafter.
