Safety Coordinator
to strengthen site safety programs, training, and compliance. The role supports ISO 45001 excellence, OSHA compliance, and a proactive safety culture. About ESP:

What You’ll Do
Lead and sustain the site
ISO 45001
safety management system; close audit findings on time.
Drive
OSHA
compliance: conduct inspections, incident/near-miss investigations, and corrective actions.
Deliver effective
safety training
(classroom + hands-on); track and improve training outcomes.
Chair/coordinate the
safety committee ; set agendas, KPIs, and progress reporting.
Maintain accurate
EHS documentation
(SOPs, JSAs, permits, logs, metrics, dashboards).
Partner with operations, maintenance, and quality to embed
GMP & safe work practices .
Ensure availability and proper use of
PPE
and critical safety equipment.
What You’ll Bring
4–15 years
of industrial safety experience (food/CPG preferred but not required).
ISO 45001
training/certification; strong working knowledge of
OSHA
and
ANSI .
Experience with audits, incident investigations, and corrective/preventive actions.
Clear written/verbal communication; ability to influence at all levels.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office/SharePoint ; comfort creating reports and training materials.
Bachelor’s in Safety, EHS, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
US Citizen or Green Card holder; No Sponsorship.
Work Environment
On-site manufacturing setting with exposure to typical plant conditions (heat/cold, humidity, aromas).
Ability to stand/walk frequently; climb stairs; occasional work at heights.
