Join our dynamic Waitstaff team and be instrumental in providing outstanding dining experiences for our residents, members, clients, and guests. This is a full-time position (35-40 hours per week) with open availability, Sunday - Monday, at Arcadia Retirement Residence (Punahou). Pay Range
$17.00 to $17.50 Hourly Responsibilities
Greets all guests and takes beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner. Prepares food and beverages for service to residents and guests in compliance with all health and safety regulations and presentation standards. Accurately enters orders into the POS system. Serves food and beverages to residents and guests with accuracy in a courteous, timely, and professional manner, meeting or exceeding guest service standards and expectations. Works with and follows up with Supervisors and Managers to address and respond to residents’ concerns and requests in regard to food quality, service, and related matters. Provides Managers and Supervisors with continuous feedback from residents on food preparation, presentation, and taste. Performs side-work and other opening or closing duties as required. Ensures that waitstaff stations are clean and maintained throughout the shift. Performs the necessary duties for emergency drills and situation such as fire, fire alarms, hurricanes, and other possible emergencies as outlined in the Disaster Response Playbook. Interacts with residents/clients and co-workers with patience, understanding and kindness in accordance with Arcadia Family of Companies’ mission and core values. Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Preferred: High school graduate. Prior customer service experience preferred. Computer Skills: Use of computers, working knowledge of POS system and software applications to input and research data. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell.
