About the role & team TelevisaUnivision is looking for a seasonal Lighting Technician to join the Production Operations team. The candidate will help our local productions to achieve quality and success through their work on Lighting sets and Camera Operation as well as perform other duties as assigned by their manager.
Your Day-to-Day
Operation of various broadcast equipment including, but not limited to; light board and studio television cameras during live and taped productions, teleprompter and audio assistant
Act as floor director during live and taped productions if requested by the Manager
Assist in studio scenery movement
Assist as production grip on live and tape productions
Other duties as directed by the Production Manager
You Have
+5 years’ experience in TV production
Live program production a plus
Working knowledge of television station production operation equipment
Working knowledge of lighting, teleprompter and studio cameras
Must be reliable and be able to work a flexible schedule
Position involves much studio work and occasional field productions. May include standing for many hours, operating human lift equipment, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, etc.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
