In the role of Repair & Overhaul Technician, perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Perform preliminary, hidden-damage, in-process and final inspections on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, Service Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. Provide verbal and written status of repair progress. Apply and handle sealants and adhesives. Perform complex acceptance test procedures utilizing specific test equipment. Keep assigned areas organized and clean in accordance with required standards such as 5S. Provide on-the-job training in manufacturing and test methods to all Assemblers, Technicians and ATP Operators per Supervisor direction. Utilize ERP system for daily transactions such as recording labor hours and closing operations. Access engineering documents using Sentry File (drawings, ATP, ATR, etc.). Use work instructions software such as Pro Works. Perform work safely in accordance with Environment, Health & Safety requirements. Support continuous improvement activities (e.g., shadow board tools, area re-layout). Perform preventative maintenance as directed on tools, tooling and equipment. Support other operations areas as needed and directed by Supervisors and/or Managers. Job Requirements
