Youth Development Specialist . The Youth Development Specialist plans, supervises, and implements a variety of high-yield activities and targeted programs revolving around these core areas: athletics, cultural arts, STEM, and education. Job Description Our Club staff members are educators, coaches, mentors, community leaders, and ambassadors. Plan, supervise, and implement high-yield activities and targeted programs in athletics, cultural arts, STEM, and education. Build positive and supportive relationships with youth and families. Collaborate with team members to deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate programming. Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent One year experience directly serving youth Preferred Qualifications

Basic classroom management and the ability to direct youth and provide clear steps and tools that support goals achievement Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities Strong English proficiency for effective communications and to follow safety and procedural guidelines Excellent customer service skills Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's policy (at least 21 years of age and 3+ years driving with no major violations) Experience in athletics Spanish language fluency What we offer you

Must be able to pass criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks Valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's policy (at least 21 years of age and 3 years with no major violations) The successful candidate will primarily work indoors and must be able to use a variety of equipment including janitorial and office equipment The job requires the ability to stand for extended periods, kneel, reach, bend, and lift objects weighing more than 25 lbs Outdoor work and moderate physically demanding activities may be required on occasion Strong English proficiency is required for effective communications with staff, Club members, and families, and to follow safety and procedural guidelines
