Salary: $20/hour - $23/hour based on experience. Full Time
Overview
The Development & Fundraising Coordinator supports our mission and values by overseeing the Foundation, development, and fundraising campaigns at Brethren Care Village. This includes grant writing, organizing fundraising events, and assisting with the development and coordination of the overall marketing plan for Brethren Care Village. Primary Responsibilities
Researches and writes grants that will benefit the fundraising efforts of BCV. Organize and assist with all foundation events. Maintain donor records in foundation software. Create and send donation letters. Seek and foster relationships with future donors. Maintain gift annuity records. Create and assist with fundraising campaigns and materials. Coordinate ordering and printing of materials as needed. Coordinate Foundation marketing efforts to align with those of BCV being done through social networking sites, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. Must be able to communicate well with visitors, sales representatives, surveyors, and the general public. Must have cheerful personality and work harmoniously with all residents, families, visitors, and regulatory personnel. Must maintain all resident and staff information in a confidential manner. Coordinate the mailing materials for Foundation mailers. Help maintain all Foundation content posted on the BCV website. Responds as needed to donation inquiries/requests for information generated from the BCV website. Serves as the public relations contact for donations, Foundation and events. Serves as liaison to outside service clubs, non-profit organizations, and local businesses to build positive relations with our campus. Assist with open houses and all campus special events. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must have a valid driver license. What makes Brethren Care Village unique
