Job Description DG Beauty is looking for a Sales and Training Executive in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Sales and Training Executive is responsible for consistently achieving retail sales plans within the territory across Department Stores retail partners. The position requires strong training, education, analytical and leadership skills. The individual is responsible to lead and guide the team to deliver results. The Sales and Training Executive will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager on all aspects of the business. The STE must be a great communicator and relationship builder. The STE must proactively seek ways to improve the business and evaluate results, and must be able to adapt to change, assess and strategize solutions, and swiftly react to the changing needs and demands of the business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Business Execution Create strategies and lead execution across designated territory. Weekly communication with Regional Sales Manager regarding business performance and strategy to achieve. Monitor rank and performance per store and adjust strategy as needed to reach goals. Report weekly, monthly, seasonally, and yearly retail performance to the team. Identify opportunities and strategies to improve and grow the Dolce & Gabbana Beauty business with store personnel. Plan, communicate, execute, and analyze all in-store events and product launches. Maintain seasonal event budget. Ensure stock levels are adequate to achieve goals; communicate concerns and work closely with RSM and Planning team to plan/rectify based on the needs of the business. Maximize freelance budget and adjust as necessary based on needs/shifts in business performance. Timely issuance of freelance schedules and approval of weekly invoicing. Consistently evaluate the freelancers to ensure productivity is being achieved. Adjust as necessary. Maximize in-store presence by maintaining and executing counter standards and guidelines. Maintain strong relationships with all store line personnel as well as internal cross-functional teams. Report competitive landscape activities to the wider team to ensure market awareness. Education Management Consistently recruit, hire and train best-in-class teams. Educate all retail teams, inter-sell teams and freelance teams on the brand; coach on selling techniques. Execute shoulder-to-shoulder trainings in-store to model behavior. Use education tools to support brand knowledge. Plan and execute trainings based on the needs of the business; collaborate with teams to increase sales by ensuring individuals fulfill all responsibilities and maximize productivity through selling skills, customer service, events and product demonstrations. Collaborate with Education, Trade Marketing and Regional Sales Manager to create and implement education/training strategies specific to each retail partner. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or minimum of 3 years’ experience in cosmetic or retail management. Proven experience in managing, motivating, and training teams in the beauty and fragrance industry. Previous experience with department stores is a plus (Macy’s, Dillards, JC Penney, Belk, etc.). Enthusiastic and a strategic thinker. Proven experience in selling and performing makeup/skincare consultations. Ability to plan, execute and analyze beauty events. Proficient computer skills required – Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Concur and Teams. Self-motivated, results oriented, and a creative thinker with a proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales plans. Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Must have the ability to drive to store locations. Travel varies by territory. Must be able to work from home 1 day a week. Flexible schedule, based on the needs of the business. Uses discretion in dealing with confidential issues/information.
