The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The SMIT program provides self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, with a mix of virtual and hands-on learning experiences. You will be supported by a leadership team including your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and your Store Manager coach. Selection for the SMIT position does not guarantee promotion to Store Manager. Promotion depends on performance, availability of openings, and other factors. Responsibilities
Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to support and lead your team. Provide high levels of customer service and assist with customer care duties. Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth. Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability. Actively engage with leadership in Key Learning Experiences to support your path to promotion during the structured program. Support the store as a management team member and lead in a manner consistent with CVS values and policies. Engage colleagues in supporting the company’s purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Be willing to accept promotion roles within the designated market. Qualifications
High School diploma or GED; a four-year college degree is preferred, or relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Retail management experience, or experience as a CVS Supervisor, is preferred. Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market and ability to transfer to other CVS Pharmacy stores within the market. Ability to work a schedule that may vary based on business needs. Anticipated Weekly Hours:

Full time Pay Range:
$18.50 - $23.88 per hour. This range represents base pay; actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors. Benefits
