Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. Salary range: $25.20 - $36.00 per hour; the typical starting pay for new employees is $24.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Assistant Resident Manager

assists the Resident Manager in overseeing site operations to ensure fiscal, physical, and social stability. The role involves proactive problem-solving and minimal supervision in employee management. Responsibilities Assist with rent collection, bank deposits, rent roll preparation, and income verification Monitor work orders and conduct daily grounds inspections Handle communications, correspondence, and resident inquiries Support eviction processes, inspections, and repairs Assist with recertifications, including resident notifications, appointment scheduling, and tracking Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in affordable housing property management Knowledge of HUD, TCAC, DFEH, and ADA guidelines Strong problem-solving and resident relations skills Proficiency in computer and phone skills Background Checks and Drug Testing All candidates must pass criminal background checks, fingerprinting (if required), and drug testing (excluding marijuana/cannabis) before employment.
