EHS Coordinator
The
EHS Coordinator
drives the site's safety, health, and environmental compliance, championing a zero‑incident culture. This role manages all EHS regulatory programs, administers the Workers' Compensation process, and serves as the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Representative. Core Responsibilities
Conduct routine safety inspections and Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs); facilitate the Joint EHS Committee; and ensure strict compliance with OSHA/CSA standards. Maintain the ISO 14001 system; manage all required environmental permits, reporting, and documentation; and coordinate the storage and disposal of hazardous and non‑hazardous waste. Develop and deliver mandatory EHS training for all employees (including new hires); and coordinate emergency response procedures and drills. Administer the site's Workers’ Compensation program, ensuring accurate tracking and recordkeeping for all cases. Ensure all EHS recordkeeping and regulatory reporting requirements are met. Provide EHS input on new processes and analyze data to drive continual improvement in workplace safety metrics. Essential Qualifications
Education: A degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. EHS Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA (or state/provincial standards) and ISO 14001. Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization. Experience: Knowledge of and experience administering a Workers’ Compensation program. Canadian Operations: Must possess or complete WSIB/IAPA Part I & Part II Certification Training. Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 / Year.
