As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, highlighting our brand and image while contributing to building our reputation as a company that values its customers and their opinions. You will assist customers, help them recognize the need for our products and services, and be capable of learning about our offerings to articulate our purpose professionally. A positive and outgoing nature that enjoys serving others is essential. Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Proactively engage with customers, ask questions, listen to their needs, and inform them about merchandise, upcoming events, promotions, mobile offers, STAR card. Provide premier customer service and build positive relationships. Organization:

Maintain checkout area appearance, restock bags, packaging materials, and labels. Sales:

Assist customers in finding products, suggest latest trends and promotions, operate Point-of-Sale systems, handle cash, process discounts, gift cards, credit/debit cards, and maintain accurate cash handling and records. Inventory:

Manage merchandise, ensure proper check-in and ticketing, participate in periodic inventories. Dependability:

Follow work schedules accurately, complete work assignments thoroughly. Other Duties:

Perform additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications:

Product knowledge preferred. Knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems. Retail or relevant experience is a plus but not required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to read, write, interpret instructional documents, and communicate effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and making change. Ability to multi-task, remain flexible, and work as part of a team. Physical Demands and Work Environment:

This position involves constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for extended periods. May involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Work is primarily indoors but may be outdoors depending on location. Other Skills:

Available for a variety of hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience:

No experience required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
