Description About the Role We are looking for a results-driven Sales Associate to lead daily sales operations, cultivate customer relationships, and drive volume and margin growth across both new and existing accounts. This role plays a vital part in aligning customer needs with supply and logistics capabilities, helping ensure operational excellence in a fast-paced fuel market. You’ll be working at the intersection of sales, supply, and logistics—identifying business opportunities, developing accounts, and helping the company stay competitive. Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify potential customers through referrals and face-to-face outreach. Customer Engagement: Initiate contact, schedule meetings, and deliver effective product/service presentations. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers. Needs Assessment & Problem Solving: Understand customer challenges and provide tailored solutions. Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Prepare and deliver proposals; negotiate terms and close deals. Post-Sales Support: Ensure compliance and maintain strong communication after the sale. Market Intelligence: Stay informed on competitive offerings, pricing, and industry trends. Sales Reporting: Maintain CRM records, submit reports, and contribute to forecasting efforts. Performance Goals: Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets for volume and margin. Job Expectations Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy for both acquiring new accounts and growing existing ones. Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools. Conduct formal and informal presentations to potential clients. Collaborate with supply and logistics teams to optimize service delivery. Resolve customer concerns (e.g., credit, pricing, supply issues) in a timely and professional manner. Maintain detailed activity reports and provide management with regular updates.
