About the Role
As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and providing customers with support and guidance. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to provide customers with relevant information for the best experience. You will also work on garment refill and care, presentation and contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
A Day in the Life
Working at H&M means no two days are the same, but a typical day will include the following responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and the omni experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service
Engage with customers to provide excellent service
Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store
Promote and sell products to customers
Actively promote the Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions
Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with the store management team
Fashion and Trend Awareness
Stay up-to-date with fashion trends, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers
Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers
Team and Development
Share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues
Follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store
Give and receive feedback to learn and develop with colleagues
Participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant for role and development
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care
Operate fitting rooms and checkout areas according to best practice
Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms)
Support garment presentation and maintenance of attractive merchandise displays and clear stories according to visual and commercial guidelines
Maintain good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor
Follow in-store omni services and tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store, etc.)
Assist with opening and closing of the store
Adhere to health and safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role
