Pay Range Base salary: $66,700.00–$91,700.00 annual. This range varies based on relevant experience, skills, education and other factors. The position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
Position Overview The Account Manager is a role within the Regional Service Team designed to provide sales and pricing support to the outside sales team and customer base. The role is responsible for supporting price realization, earnings and share objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong negotiation, decision‑making and collaboration skills to drive expected business results.
Your-Day-to-Day
Complete and provide analysis to support customer price recommendations.
Ensure competitive market price while maintaining market relevance, margin and territory share through project‑specific pricing.
Support Regional Sales and Service Manager to establish regional and territory market pricing strategy.
Manage and facilitate pricing decisions based on established price strategies; obtain and document competitive information related to price for feedback to Regional Sales and Service managers and product management.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure customer requests are being supported timely and accurately.
Ensure data accuracy between SAP and Salesforce tools.
Support price page process and communication for Regional Service Teams.
Support maintenance and updates of pricing tools utilized within the Account Manager role and Regional Service Teams.
May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring To The Team
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of customer‑facing decision‑making experience.
Experience developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally through excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to successfully negotiate complex situations and analyze pricing and margin information.
Result‑driven with proven ability to evaluate product lines, customers and markets.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Travel up to 15%.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce experience.
SAP experience.
Building material or construction experience.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate and sell with a thorough understanding of business strategy and strategic customer relationships.
Finance, Business or Marketing degree preferred.
