This role supports the Closing team’s nightly guest-focused operations, closing routines, and leadership responsibilities to ensure the store closes with excellence. Responsibilities

Demonstrate inclusivity and respect for diverse voices; create equitable experiences. Maintain a guest-centric service culture; model, train, and coach expectations to deliver the service standard. Understand your role in sales growth and total store profitability. Lead and demonstrate best practices for onboarding, learning, coaching, and closing skill development. Problem solve and prioritize across multiple areas to execute store strategies and hit sales goals while prioritizing guest experience. Coordinate with leaders to influence sales performance, using daily check-ins and meetings as connection points. Support store operations by ensuring departments are zoned, in-stock, signed, and labeled for next-day success. Share priorities and updates with store leadership using business planning tools. Take action to achieve performance goals; evaluate candidates for open positions and build a guest-centric team. Assist with onboarding and learning; close skill gaps through development and coaching. Establish clear goals and hold team members accountable; collaborate with leaders on performance feedback. Follow safe and secure training and processes; address store emergency and compliance needs. Lead a safety culture; model safe behaviors, identify hazards, and assist with incident response and reporting. Greet guests and engage with them to solve their needs; thank guests for choosing Target. Model execution of physical security processes and support merchandise protection strategies. Support guest services such as order pickup and Drive-Up orders, ensuring compliance with laws where applicable. All other duties based on business needs. Qualifications

You enjoy interacting with guests and fellow team members. You thrive in a fast-moving, active environment; teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key. Flexible work schedule with varying hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. Previous retail experience preferred but not required; high school diploma or equivalent; at least 18 years of age. Ability to communicate across multiple devices and use handheld scanners and technology. Work independently and as part of a team; manage workload and prioritize tasks; welcoming attitude toward guests and teammates. Strong communication skills; remain focused in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. Willingness to respond to store area needs, climb ladders, and handle merchandise safely (up to 44 pounds without assist).
