Overview
Field Account Manager (Trades) - Las Vegas Exceeds sales and profit targets in a designated territory by implementing sales and marketing programs and establishing both short and long-term sales strategies. Drives growth by securing profitable new accounts through industry research, networking, and proactive prospecting. This position requires operation of a company vehicle, or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 50% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.
Responsibilities
Manages sales and customer retention initiatives to enhance overall sales performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction, including planning, forecasting, reporting of sales activities and competitive pricing tactics.
Generates a strategic sales call schedule and conducts face-to-face customer visits to identify opportunities and increase sales revenue through value-added solutions, handling objections effectively.
Identifies, develops, and maintains a pipeline of qualified accounts to meet or exceed total sales and margin plans using a company CRM tool.
Focuses on new account opportunities with effective cold call strategies to drive territory growth.
Implements approved sales strategies to achieve targeted outcomes and foster valuable customer relationships with strong product knowledge and understanding of services for client accounts.
Utilizes Salesforce reporting and data analysis to identify opportunities for sales and revenue growth within the territory.
Reviews customer portfolio to identify and take action on underperforming accounts.
Collaborates with inside sales to support business growth and development.
Qualifications
3+ years of direct sales to HD Supply facility customers and related product lines
Experience with a large volume of product lines
Strong organizational skills and tech-savvy
Knowledge of facilities products (hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, HVAC)
Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM
Experience with consultative/solution selling
Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a field sales position
Nature and Scope
Identifies key barriers and applies problem-solving to complex situations; troubleshoots and resolves problems; makes decisions under uncertainty to achieve results
Performs assignments with minimal instruction; develops approaches to solutions; receives technical guidance on unusual or complex issues
May oversee projects, including planning, assigning, monitoring, and reviewing progress; contributes to professional development but does not have hiring/firing authority
Work Environment
Located in a comfortable indoor area; unpleasant conditions are infrequent
Primarily sedentary with opportunities to move; may lift light articles
Typically requires overnight travel Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline with generally 5-8 years of related experience OR MS/MA with generally 3-5 years of related experience
Certification is required in some areas
Pay Range and Benefits $64,200.00-$94,600.00 Annual
