Position Summary

The

Point-of-Sale (POS) Manager

is responsible for overseeing all POS operations at the music festival, ensuring accurate, efficient, and secure transactions across concession, merchandise, and vendor outlets. This role manages POS setup, staff training, troubleshooting, and reporting to support a seamless guest experience and maximize revenue. This is a seasonal role from September 9, 2025 and will end on January 9, 2026. This role pays an daily rate of $700.00 This position will remain open until January 9, 2026. Responsibilities

Plan, set up, and configure POS systems for all festival outlets, including food, beverage, and merchandise. Train concession staff, supervisors, and volunteers on POS use, cash-handling, and transaction policies. Monitor real-time sales activity and system functionality during the festival. Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for POS hardware and software. Coordinate with Finance on sales reporting, reconciliation, and resolving discrepancies. Ensure compliance with security standards for handling financial transactions. Maintain and inventory POS equipment, including terminals, tablets, printers, and card readers. Generate and distribute end-of-day and post-festival financial and sales reports. Collaborate with festival management to improve transaction flow and reduce wait times. Act as primary liaison with POS software/hardware vendors during the event. Qualifications

Experience managing POS systems at large-scale events, festivals, or venues required. Strong technical knowledge of POS hardware/software (e.g., Square, Toast, Clover, or similar systems). Excellent leadership and training skills for supporting concession and merchandise staff. Ability to troubleshoot quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work long shifts outdoors, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous festival, live events, or hospitality industry experience strongly preferred. Strengthened by our Differences.
