Salary Range:
$15.66 per hour Work Schedule:
Primarily 12:30 pm–5:30 pm Location:

United Way Miami is looking for an Infant Toddler Teacher who will provide a safe and nurturing environment for children 0 to 36 months, supporting social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development. The focus is on delivering comprehensive high-quality early care and education to low-income families in the area. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Teacher/Child Interactions:
Complete daily observations of children and create daily experience plans that build on children’s prior experiences. Encourage and model appropriate behavior and expectations. Build vocabulary by asking follow-up questions to deepen understanding. Program:
In collaboration with others, decide daily on materials, activities, and environments that balance learning. Observe and document each child’s health, behavior, growth, and development. Supervise children following safety rules for the eight in the classroom. Keep the environment safe, clean, organized, and accessible. Complete documentation to report incidents and accidents. Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED and Florida DCF 45-hour child care training. Other Essential Knowledge/Skills:
Flexibility, understanding of diversity and inclusion, good communication, teamwork, sensitivity to others. Career Growth:
