Advantage Dealer Group is expanding our centralized Business Development Center (BDC) that supports multiple dealerships across the Chicagoland area — including Advantage Chevrolet of Bridgeview, Hodgkins, Bolingbrook, and Toyota River Oaks. We’re looking for a
driven, experienced, and motivated BDC Team Lead
with strong leadership skills and proven success in
Sales, Service, and Buying Center
operations.
Position Overview As the
Team Lead for Sales, Service, and Buying Center BDC , you will be responsible for driving appointment performance,
calling customers , and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across all communication channels. This position plays a critical role in supporting dealership goals through effective lead management, process compliance, and team motivation.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coach a team of Sales, Service, and Buying Center BDC agents to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
Actively make outbound calls
to sales, service, and vehicle acquisition (Buying Center) customers.
Monitor lead handling, call performance, and appointment scheduling accuracy in CRM (VinSolutions).
Conduct daily check-ins, review call logs, and provide coaching for performance improvement.
Collaborate closely with Sales Managers, Service Managers, and the Group BDC Manager to align goals.
Support Buying Center operations by assisting with inbound and outbound appraisal leads, scheduling vehicle evaluations, and ensuring timely follow-ups.
Create and maintain a positive, energetic, and accountable team environment.
Support scheduling, training, and coverage planning for all BDC departments.
Ensure all communications meet OEM, dealership, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
2+ years of Sales, Service, or Buying Center BDC experience required
(Team Lead or Senior BDC Agent experience preferred).
Proven track record as a
Top Performer
in appointment setting, show ratio, sales conversions, and/or vehicle acquisition results.
Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
Proficient with
VinSolutions ,
Xtime , or similar CRM systems.
Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Positive attitude with a team-player mindset.
Schedule
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Flexible schedule including some evenings and mandatory Saturdays
