The BDC Sales Team Lead will oversee a team of BDC Representatives, ensuring they meet performance goals, deliver excellent customer service, and drive showroom traffic. Lead, train, and motivate a team of BDC Representatives to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly goals Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing development Handle inbound and outbound calls, internet inquiries, and follow-up communications with customers when needed Ensure all leads are responded to promptly and professionally, with accurate data entry into CRM systems Partner with Sales Managers and General Managers to align BDC efforts with dealership sales goals Develop call scripts, email templates, and follow-up processes to maximize lead conversion Track appointment show rates, sold ratios, and lead-to-sale metrics, providing regular performance reports Assist in hiring, onboarding, and training new BDC staff Resolve escalated customer concerns and ensure the highest level of satisfaction Qualifications
Previous experience in automotive BDC, internet sales, or dealership sales environment required Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong communication, coaching, and motivational skills Proficient in CRM software (VinSolutions, DealerSocket, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite Goal-oriented with the ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a high-volume environment Strong customer service mindset with a professional and positive attitude Seniority level
