will identify, develop, and service existing and new accounts in the greater market. They will work closely with customers to provide water treatment programs tailored to their specific needs. This is a remote position. Responsibilities
Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Develop and perform all sales activities in the assigned territory (e.g., lead generation, cold calling, appointment setting). Promote and sell maintenance services to new and existing Chem-Aqua customers. Hands-on servicing of accounts, including chemical testing, calibration and repair of chemical feed related equipment, and visual inspections of systems when necessary. Schedule service and sales calls, including daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Identify new business needs and opportunities, and develop and implement customized solutions for customers. Requirements
High School Diploma; College Degree preferred. Experience in water treatment, water hygiene, environmental health and safety, and/or secondary disinfection is preferred, but not required. Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven successful track record. Demonstrated leadership, organizational, and management skills. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with experience working on cross-location teams. Strong mechanical aptitude. Knowledgeable in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Self-motivated and proactive. Ability to perform physical work in HVAC, cooling towers, or boiler environments with exposure to chemicals, noise, temperature variations, and inclement weather. Good physical condition; frequent walking to and from worksites. Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record (DMV record will be checked). Ability to work a flexible schedule, with some weekends required depending on servicing of accounts. Climbing and descending stairs and ladders (10-30 feet), sometimes while carrying drums of chemicals up to 50 pounds, maintaining OSHA 3-point contact. Ladders currently have a weight limit of 375 pounds. Ability to wear protective gear for the face, ears, and gloves. Travel
