As an Outside Sales Representative, you will provide potential and current customers a world-class experience through outstanding customer service and knowledge of our business systems. Responsibilities Include Solicit, present product, and sell to new and existing customers daily Be familiar with product literature and convey product information and availability to customers Make sales presentations on new and existing accounts Comply with established company policies and procedures Prospect possible new accounts from a variety of leads Visit newly established accounts Visit established accounts with high upside potential for development Work with Inside Sales staff on customer issues, assist in account development and regional development/maintenance plans Product displays Schedule maintenance and communicate remotely with the Regional Manager Assume other duties as assigned Qualifications Include High School Diploma or GED required Prior Outside Sales experience Ability to travel Monday through Friday each week, sometimes on weekends, and occasional trade shows Strong time management and organizational skills Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate concisely with internal and external customers Microsoft Office experience; strong Outlook and Excel skills Ability to thrive in a group/team environment General knowledge or experience in marine electronics, parts, and accessories Preferred Qualifications Some college coursework or degree preferred Experience in training/educating people (e.g., teaching customers how to use online/system features) Location: Bridgeport, CT area; Travel within New England region
