Overview Position works with students and parents, maintaining solid customer relationships while responding to inquiries from students, parents, peers and campus partners. Investigate/resolve elevated customer questions and problems. Responsible for refunding federal, state and private funds to UNL and NCTA students in compliance with Title IV cash management rules. Manage intercampus billing with other NU campuses. Track and invoice foundation funds for student aid payments. Process Department of Education Return to Title IV uncashed warrants. This position supports the Assistant Director with reconciling work within Student Accounts and supporting department requests for student financial data.
Work Arrangement This position will be a hybrid schedule, once training period is successfully completed.
Salary Posted Salary $38,500/yr. minimum
Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting plus 2 years of relevant experience required; equivalent education/experience considered. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products essential. Math skills involving understanding of debits and credits in financial accounts required. Must have excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Management preferred. Experience in college or university financials office helpful. Accounting or business background desirable. Experience in collections, data management and student finance helpful. Knowledge of accounting basics, financial billing, higher education/Department of Education regulations preferred.
Responsibilities
