This position manages and leads the Spinal Implants business activities in a specific territory, under the direction of the Spinal Implants Regional Vice President (SIRVP). The RM oversees distributor sales performance, sales force training, hospital and GPO relationships, pricing and promotions, surgeon product training, surgeon relationships, and distribution optimization. The role also promotes on-label use of the Spine Fixation portfolio to physicians and providers in clinic, office, and OR settings. The candidate should demonstrate consultative selling, technical expertise, and teamwork to support surgeon adoption of our Spine Fixation platform for patient benefit. A strong commitment to mastering spine anatomy, physiology, and clinical applications to assist physician preference is required. Core Aptitudes Required

Technology Expertise/Education - Build deep knowledge of the Orthofix Spine Fixation portfolio and competitive space. Deliver effective training to reps and surgeons. Distribution Optimization - Help drive distribution optimization and define pathways for improvement as directed by the SIRVP. Efficient Execution - Organized prioritization and follow-through with urgency and accuracy Driving Sales Performance - Collaborate with distributors to review performance, identify opportunities, and implement business plans with accountability Measurement - Assess distributor performance and identify opportunities for growth Leadership - Lead internal and external stakeholders to advance the Spine Fixation sales strategy Responsibilities
Serve as the front-line spine specialist to customers (distributors, surgeons, hospitals) and be a trained consultative sales expert Develop technical and selling skills; demonstrate proficiency in Orthofix Spinal Implants portfolio and spine market Execute directions from the SIRVP and fulfill requests Call on physician offices and hospital accounts to promote spine fixation in partnership with other Orthofix divisions Develop and implement business plans to achieve or exceed spine fixation sales quotas Participate in workshops, trade shows, sales meetings, and company trainings Conduct educational programs to advance learning for representatives and clinicians Provide exceptional customer service pre and post-sale Collaborate with internal and external staff to transition sales to the appropriate representative Attend and complete home office and online training modules Maintain records in accordance with company policy Adhere to Orthofix Integrity Advantage compliance guidelines Qualifications & Skills
At least 5 years of medical sales experience with documented success, preferably in spine Demonstrated high competitiveness and drive to succeed Bachelor’s degree preferred; MBA preferred Proven ability to present to individuals or larger groups Strong technical competence with product knowledge and clinical applications Ability to manage multiple activities and sell in a changing environment Open to coaching and ongoing development Proven ability to work effectively in a team Computer skills for communication and presentations (email, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) High integrity and ethical standards Supervisory & Demands
