Northstar New Jersey Lottery Group, LLC (NSNJ) is the lottery growth management services provider selected by the New Jersey Lottery to supply game design, sales, marketing, and various other services under a 15-year contract extending through June 2029. Responsibilities
Territory is: Essex County - Orange, W. Orange, Bloomfield. Candidate must live within 30 minutes of territory. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with lottery retailers. Maximize sales through merchandising, training, and promotional techniques. Travel within the assigned territory nearly 100% of the time. Grow sales at existing lottery retailers by selling new products/promotions. Monitor and oversee new retailer training and store installations. Visit retailers regularly to ensure a professional presence. Maintain a route cycle within the Sales Wizard application and record all visits accurately. Manage instant ticket inventory to maximize sales, making recommendations for optimization. Track and maintain adequate inventory levels, pick up old inventory, and transfer packs as necessary. Remove closing games as directed by the lottery within the required timeframe. Deliver, install, and maintain all lottery point-of-sale materials. Operate and train retailers on lottery equipment. Provide field training on game and promotion changes. Perform retailer terminations, ownership changes, and related duties. Demonstrate proper product placement and equipment setup. Assist with special projects and sales program implementation. Achieve targeted sales goals within the territory and district. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications
Fluent in English and Spanish. Route sales experience required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, marketing, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of retail or wholesale sales experience. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs. Good driving record required. Reside close to the territory. Keys to Success
