Greet all guests and take beverage and food orders in a prompt and professional manner. Serve cocktails and/or menu items to bar guests; up-sell when taking orders. Provide outstanding and professional service with a smile to ensure guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with co-workers and kitchen staff, verbally and through the point of sale system. Guide the guest experience by staying well-versed in all concept products and menu items. Identify guests' ages and ensure compliance with alcohol service requirements. Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption; notify management of incidents as needed. Complete all assigned side work and accurately account for all sales and payments. Escalate or recover service issues according to established guidelines to ensure guest satisfaction. Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments. Coordinate with bartenders and kitchen for ordering and receipt of food and beverages. Qualifications

At least 1 year of serving in a fast-paced food and beverage venue, preferably nightclub environment. Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, glassware, preparation methods and garnishments preferred. Must meet state legal age requirements; fluent English required (other languages preferred). Courteous, pleasant, and good-natured with strong communication skills. Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency. Reading and writing abilities used for taking orders and paperwork; basic math for handling cash and credit. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. Server physical requirements

Handle, carry or lift items weighing up to 50 pounds (bar ware, carts, boxes, bottles, etc.). Stand and move about the facility during shifts; perform bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting as needed. Benefits
