Infant Lead Teacher We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and passionate
Infant Lead Teacher
to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will create a warm, safe, and stimulating environment for infants, supporting their growth and development through age-appropriate activities and consistent care. This role requires strong communication skills, a deep understanding of infant development, and a commitment to creating a partnership with families. Responsibilities
Provide a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 12 months. Implement daily lesson plans based on Frogstreet's Infant Curriculum. Maintain regular communication with parents about their child's progress, routines, and any concerns. Observe and document each child’s development and share progress during parent-teacher conferences. Ensure classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with licensing and safety standards. Supervise and mentor assistant teachers or aides in the infant room. Follow all health and safety guidelines, including diapering and feeding procedures. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. CDA (Child Development Associate) credential or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe. At least 1 year of experience in an infant classroom or early childhood setting. CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain). Strong knowledge of child development and positive guidance techniques. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and engage in active play with children.
