Job Description A career in sales holds promise but it demands considerable effort to succeed. H&E offers comprehensive on-the-job training, regular performance and pay reviews, and a clearly defined career progression path.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement:
Engage extensively with customers over the phone to generate rental leads and assist with their business needs.
Rental Coordination:
Assist fellow sales representatives in coordinating rental agreements and supporting rental transactions.
Contract Management:
Open and close rental contracts in adherence to company policies and customer requirements.
Dispatch & Logistics:
Coordinate and dispatch drivers for equipment deliveries and pick-ups to ensure timely and efficient service.
Customer Service Excellence:
Serve as the first line of support, providing outstanding customer service to address inquiries, resolve issues, and build lasting relationships.
Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Preferred Qualifications
Exceptional talent for providing superior customer service and support.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with effective listening skills.
Excellent organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software applications.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Collaborative mindset with a people-oriented approach and strong administrative skills.
