Work Type & Location Full-time hybrid – at least 2–5 days per week in the territory. Hybrid environment includes a home office, school, community, and event venues.

Location: Thumb Area. Territory sales requires current residence in/near the region to manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities.

Travel requirement: primarily local to schools and organizations within the territory (2–5+ days a week); some out‑of‑area and overnight travel may be expected.

Work hours may vary based on customer needs; evenings and weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide best‑in‑class, consultative customer service to coaches across an assigned territory and do everything possible to make their lives easier.

Generate revenue and meet sales/growth targets.

Actively develop and qualify leads within the territory through cold‑calling and lead generation campaigns.

Handle rejection with resilience and persistently turn challenges into opportunities.

Navigate CRM functions—including prospecting, account management, and activity tracking—to support sales and customer relationships.

Increase sales in existing accounts by selling to all sports at all levels (e.g., women's soccer coach receives the same level of service as a head football coach).

Utilize data‑driven business intelligence on prospects to identify new trends and opportunities.

Manage your account list and travel to client locations within the territory.

Qualifications

High level of self‑direction and autonomy in managing tasks, projects, and responsibilities.

Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Strong time‑management skills to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Intermediate skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM.

Proficient in setting up a distraction‑free in‑home office environment.

3+ years of B2B outside sales experience (preferably in sporting goods) or a coaching/sports‑related background.

Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and satisfactory driving record.

Physical Requirements This job operates in a hybrid environment between a home office, school, community, and event venues. Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and driving will all occur regularly.
