Overview
We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Career Services Advisor to support students and graduates in launching successful careers. In this role, you’ll coach students on job readiness, build employer relationships, and coordinate externship placements. Location: 100% On-Site at Denver Campus Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) • Shift Options: Monday–Friday, between 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Required Availability
Must work one closing shift per week (until 7:00 PM) Total weekly hours must equal 40 Key Responsibilities
Externship & Job Placement
Identify and secure externship sites through cold calling, networking, and alumni outreach Match students to externship opportunities based on skills and instructor feedback Conduct site visits to monitor student progress and resolve issues
Career Coaching & Workshops
Lead sessions on resume writing, interview preparation, and job search strategies Guide students in building strong portfolios (resumes, certifications, references)
Data Management & Compliance
Track placements, employer contacts, and student progress using Campus Nexus Ensure students meet externship requirements (e.g., background checks, certifications)
Employer & Community Engagement
Collaborate with faculty, employers, and advisory boards to improve job outcomes Represent the school at job fairs, graduation ceremonies, and local events
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in recruitment, staffing, or career services Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and video conferencing tools Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Empathetic and proactive approach to student support Associate degree preferred (or equivalent professional experience) Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Pay: $22.88–$27.46 Flexible Scheduling: Choose morning or afternoon shifts Benefits Include:
