Engagement Manager, AWS Professional Services role at Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ProServe team seeks a highly skilled Engagement Manager to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects, bridging business requirements with technical solutions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes. Applies AWS frameworks (Well-Architected, Cloud Adoption Framework) and demonstrates technical credibility across diverse stakeholders to translate customer needs into technical requirements, decompose problems, and make informed trade-offs considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact. Responsibilities

Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects Leveraging knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions, and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes Distilling customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards Validating technical solutions against business goals and recognizing when additional evaluation is needed Managing technical risks and communicating concepts to both technical and business audiences Leading increasingly complex projects, shaping cross-organizational technical strategies, and establishing best practices Executing project plans, proactively identifying and managing risks, resolving issues, escalating as needed, and driving projects to successful completion while exceeding customer expectations About The Team

The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team that helps customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and provide focused guidance through our global specialty practices across various solutions, technologies, and industries. Basic Qualifications

3+ years of experience in cloud computing Experience in managing technical programs and projects Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC); Waterfall/Agile/iterative methodologies Experience applying project management and agile methodologies on enterprise-level engagements and across large, complex projects Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications

AWS experience preferred Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate Strong understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices Experience applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework Proven ability to establish technical credibility with engineering teams and senior technical stakeholders Experience delivering IT and Transformation engagements for a Fortune 100 company Work experience in industries such as Financial Services, Automotive, Telecommunications, Health Care & Life Sciences, Energy, Media & Entertainment, Manufacturing Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
