Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. This role requires an individual with a strong background in industrial sales, a passion for building relationships, and the ability to drive new business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales within a designated region, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and identifying new business opportunities. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
Liaise with the marketing and product development departments to ensure brand consistency.
Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
Qualifications
BS degree in Engineering or related field is preferred but not necessary.
5+ years of industrial sales experience is required.
Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role.
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and team management skills.
Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Availability to travel as needed.
Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Experience in territory management, prospecting, lead generation, and cold calling.
Ability to forecast sales, manage budgets, and plan strategically.
Experience in compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory to educate and solicit orders from regular and prospective dealers/customers.
