Position Summary: Our insurance agency is seeking a highly experienced and client-focused
Property & Casualty Insurance CSR/Account Manager
to join our team, servicing both
Commercial Lines
and
Personal Lines
accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in an independent insurance agency setting and a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience using Applied EPIC. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact handling all aspects of client service, coverage consultation, policy renewals, endorsements, and marketing to carriers. You will work collaboratively with producers, underwriters, and support staff to deliver best‑in‑class service to both commercial and personal lines clients.
Job Type: Part‑Time (balance of 2025), Full‑time (January 5, 2026)
Key Responsibilities Client Management
Serve as the primary client relationship manager for assigned accounts in both personal and commercial lines.
Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, service requests, and policy changes.
Conduct annual reviews and proactively recommend coverage improvements or changes.
Cross‑sell to round out client accounts.
Manage all aspects of the policy lifecycle including quoting, binding, issuing, endorsements, certificates, and renewals.
Process policy changes and communicate updates to clients and careers/brokers.
Review insurance applications, policies, and endorsements for accuracy and completeness.
Applied EPIC Use
Utilize
Applied EPIC
for all client documentation, communication tracking, task management, and policy management.
Ensure data integrity and proper documentation within the EPIC system.
Negotiate with carriers on behalf of clients to secure optimal terms and pricing.
Prepare and submit accurate marketing submissions for new business and renewals.
Compliance & Documentation
Maintain complete and accurate client files in accordance with agency standards and E&O requirements.
Keep abreast of industry trends, coverage changes, and state/federal insurance regulations.

Qualifications
8+ years
of experience working in a P&C independent insurance agency (required).
3+ years
of proven, hands‑on experience with
Applied EPIC
(required).
Strong understanding of
both Commercial and Personal Lines
P&C products, market awareness, insurance laws and regulations.
Active
Property & Casualty insurance license
(required).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Proven ability to build relationships with clients & carriers/brokers.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Robust problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize & manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Ethical conduct and integrity.
Associate or bachelor's degree (business degree preferred).
