Position Overview
Do you have aspirations to run your own business? If so, consider working in the office of Scott Brown - State Farm Agent. As a member of our agency team, you will gain firsthand experience of what it takes to be a State Farm Agent. Your role involves building and developing customer relationships within the community to promote State Farm products including auto, home, and life insurance. This position provides an opportunity to explore becoming a State Farm agent yourself.
Responsibilities
Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
Maintain a strong work ethic with a commitment to success every day.
As an Agent Team Member, you will receive:
An hourly rate plus commission/bonus
Paid Time Off

Requirements
Sales experience (outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing) preferred
Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, listening)
Enthusiasm for insurance and financial products in helping people manage risks and achieve their dreams
People-oriented, organized, self-motivated, detail-oriented, proactive in problem solving, dedicated to customer service
Able to learn computer functions and work accurately and timely
Ability to work in a team, multi-task, make presentations, and explain complex financial issues clearly
Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)
Life and Health license (must be able to obtain)

This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not directly with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees must complete licensing requirements and training. Compensation:
$16.82 - $21.63 per hour
