Costa Rica Are you ready to make an impact? West Monroe is currently seeking an Experienced Consultant to work with clients as a member of our Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) practice at West Monroe. You will be staffed on a project and be an integral part of our teams that identify, shape and deliver high value transformation programs to respond to the strategic business challenges of our clients. This role will give you the opportunity to support and collaborate on projects serving our Private Equity and Strategic clients investing in and acquiring technology-enabled Healthcare and Life Sciences companies across the transaction lifecycle. This team leads projects related to our core offerings, including platform acquisitions, mergers/integrations, corporate divestiture/carve-outs, sell-side readiness, Day 1 readiness planning, and post-close value creation and execution management.
Responsibilities:
Work directly with internal project teams and clients to implement processes and technology that support business value and process efficiency across business and technical functions
Contribute to fast-paced technology due diligence engagements for Private Equity clients, with an ability to evaluate the technology systems and operations of a business and identify compliance, operations, revenue, and growth risks
Participate in client workshops focused on future state of the industry, design future state business process and requirements
Support detailed requirements gathering
Develop client-ready communications that facilitate decision making, communicate status, mitigate risk or resolve issues
Participate in the creation of project related deliverables such as project plans, implementation plans, communication plans, and financial models
Work closely with engagement management to reduce project risk
Interface with all levels of management both internally and with clients
Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in a team-based environment and working directly with external clients/internal stakeholders
Ability to effectively create and deliver client facing content utilizing Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Sharepoint, Teams, etc).
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, display excellent judgment, and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle multiple priorities
Ability to develop a sense of urgency and respond appropriately
Experience working in a collaborative team environment on large initiatives
Strong project management and leadership skills to manage and drive concurrent small to large projects for one team

Professional experience or knowledge working in the healthcare & life sciences industry
Excellent communication ability with team members and clients in English.
