Position Overview: As an Experienced Escrow Officer, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the escrow process for real estate transactions from start to finish. You will work directly with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other industry professionals to ensure smooth and timely closings. The ideal candidate will have a consistent history of producing and managing a high volume of transactions, with an in-depth understanding of escrow procedures, title processing, and client service.
Key Responsibilities: Escrow Management:
Open, process, and close escrows in compliance with company policies, local regulations, and industry standards. Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of any issues. Document Preparation:
Review and prepare all necessary escrow documents, including settlement statements, deeds, title policies, and other closing documents. Fund Disbursement:
Ensure accurate and timely disbursement of funds as per the terms of the escrow agreement. Title Coordination:
Collaborate with the title department to ensure that all title issues are resolved prior to closing. Problem Solving:
Proactively identify and address any potential issues or delays that could affect the escrow process, working to find solutions in a timely manner. Quality Assurance:
Maintain accuracy in all escrow-related documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service, going above and beyond to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications: Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Escrow Officer, with a proven history of handling high-volume transactions and consistently producing results. Title & Escrow Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of escrow processes, title procedures, and the real estate transaction cycle. Attention to Detail:
High level of accuracy and attention to detail when handling escrow documents, funds, and communication. Communication Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships and manage client expectations. Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify problems quickly and propose effective solutions. Time Management:
Ability to manage multiple escrows simultaneously, with a focus on meeting deadlines and providing excellent service. Technology Proficiency:
Proficient in using escrow and title software, as well as standard office tools (Microsoft Office, etc.). License/Certifications:
Title and escrow certifications or relevant licenses preferred.
