Position Summary
Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction on member service approaches to ensure issues are resolved per company guidelines. Supports recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates. Communicates information on membership types, programs, and benefits to current and prospective members; processes memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; and participates in sales and marketing events. Performs customer service duties to provide member support, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and guide members on self-service technology. Oversees area by handling claims/returns, organizing merchandise, and maintaining aisle availability and club cleanliness. Maintains financial records and confidentiality according to office procedures and prepares deposits and related documentation. Develops, communicates, and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners, and by analyzing information to identify improvement opportunities. Promotes compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards and assists management in addressing issues related to ethics and compliance. Leads and participates in teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of work, while modeling adaptability to change.
