Position based at Sam's Club / Walmart family market. The role provides member service by acknowledging the member and identifying needs, offering guidance and support regarding self-service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting the company\'s products and services. Responsibilities
Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, guiding self-service technology usage, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services. Assist management with supervision of associates: assign duties, communicate goals, train on processes and procedures, provide direction on member service techniques, and ensure issues are resolved per company guidelines. Stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor; document activities and paperwork per policies. Maintain facility safety and compliance: conduct safety sweeps, forklift safety, hazardous material handling per guidelines, and report unsafe conditions. Ensure merchandise presentation and floor maintenance: handle claims and returns, stock, price and label merchandise, identify shrink and damages, and secure fragile/high-shrink items. Monitor product quality: rotation, dating, recalls, sanitation, and adherence to policies; manage displays and cleaning across departments. Oversee club pickup orders: pick, stage, and prepare orders according to policy and procedures. Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs: analyze information, monitor progress, identify improvement opportunities, and collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners. Promote compliance with policies, ethics, and integrity; support action plans and address ethical/compliance issues as needed; participate in Open Door Policy discussions. Lead and participate in teams: coordinate work, provide feedback, support timelines and quality, and model adaptability to change. Respect the individual and foster a culture of belonging; build strong, collaborative relationships; mentor others and recognize contributions. Act with integrity: uphold high standards of ethics and compliance, hold self and others accountable, and support Walmart\'s regenerative goals.
