Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented
Investment Operations Associate
to join our growing team. This full-time role sits at the heart of our investment operations and trading functions, supporting both the firm’s advisors and our clients. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and organizational skills to help maintain our systems, execute trading and billing functions, and deliver operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the Orion portfolio management system and firm databases Conduct regular Orion database audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity Assist with daily trading activities, including: Investing new client cash Monitoring account activity for accuracy and timeliness
Create and update client performance reports and firm-level business intelligence reports Administer the account review process to ensure alignment with client expectations Support client billing processes, including preparation, reconciliation, and issue resolution Contribute to department- and firm-wide projects aimed at improving efficiency and service delivery Maintain institutional relationships with custodians (Fidelity, Charles Schwab) and vendor partners Support financial advisors in their use of the Orion system and related tools Assist with compliance processes by generating accurate and timely reporting This is more than just a job, it’s a career path. Familiarity with investment custodians (Fidelity and/or Charles Schwab) Functional understanding of database structures and data accuracy best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work independently and in collaboration with team members Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field Other Details
