Overview

As one of the world's largest energy delivery companies, Con Edison is a leader in technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and transmission, with a strong commitment to clean energy and sustainability. We are driving the transition towards a cleaner future by advancing renewable energy production, transmission, and distribution. Join us to shape a sustainable and resilient energy landscape where innovation meets environmental responsibility. We seek talented individuals passionate about the future of clean energy and a greener planet.

Our Leadership Development Program (LDP) offers three tracks: Engineering, Information Technology, and Business. This 18-month rotational program introduces recent graduates to the energy industry, aiming to develop foundational leadership skills such as critical thinking, communication, leadership, initiative, innovation, and corporate citizenship. Successful graduates often advance into leadership roles within Con Edison, including the C-Suite.

The program includes:

Three six-month rotational assignments across New York City, Westchester, and Rockland Counties to deepen operational knowledge.

At least one supervisory assignment leading a team in an operations environment.

Ongoing coaching and feedback from a dedicated support team.

Formal presentations to company leaders at the end of each assignment to showcase knowledge, process improvements, and lessons learned.

Cross-functional training to enhance leadership and technical skills and industry knowledge.

Each associate is supported by an LDP Committee, Supervisor, Assignment Manager, Mentor, and Peer Mentor. After completing the program, participants may apply for permanent positions within the company.
